Importance

Today was, indeed, the second day in class, and the thinking has already begun. We are thinking about a question I wonder if we have all asked ourselves: why are we here? I personally can say that being here was the next logical step. Who would want to ask the famed quote "would you like fries with that" the rest of their lives? Certainly not me. Once here though the question is put infront of you: BUT why are you here? Is it money? Is it social life? Is it expected? Are you simply lost on the road of life? For each of us there is a unique answer. If put to a poll in th Quad I am confident that the results would probably all be closer to one answer. Money. So if that is the case the reason for being at college is money. But what if someone told you that if you promiss to never partake in the "college experience" they would garentee you a comfortable life. Would you take their offer? Or would you take the chance that somewhere at this "college" you could find more than just a comfortable life.

That is my monologue on todays class. Take it as you will.
