Class on the 12th and 20th

I have never had so much trouble with an account before in my life! I dont like gmail at all, sorry.
Anyways, the past 2 classes we have had really made me think about several things.
For class on the 12th it really made me think, " Why are you in college?"
I was always raised in a home where I was told I was going to college because there was no better plan than to start off with going to college. I dont disagree with my parents putting that mindset in my life but would I honestly be here if they hadn't in a way forced it on me?
of course though, I want to future my education. My dad is a very well educated man who graduated from UT Austin and who i very much look up to. He is alway feeding me with knowledge everyday I'm with him and I love it! I want to be able to do the same for my children. I want to be able to give them a well and educated answer and not a guess or a lie to sound smart.
Then on the 20th, we discussed about the "no impact week." I personally am not concerned very much with the environment and recylcing but it is interesting so I dont mind doing it for a week. I think I will actually try not to produce trash because I like challenges and I know others will be attempting the same things during this week as well so I'm not alone!
