Colin Beavan

So I attended Colin Beavan's talk last night, but I did not enjoy it. I went in with an open mind thinking that because I had read the book and sort of knew what he was talking about, I would be interested, but no. I appreciated that he tried to capture our attention and make is more personal by telling stories and talking about his family, but he seemed very self-righteous to me. The one thing that I took away from attending the event was that it is very clear that he is not only passionate about the Earth and about conserving the environment, but also about using what we have to benefit others and make the world as a whole a better place.
