What to say what to say. Not to sound harsh, but the officer who was shining his flashlight at everyone making them move down so they werent at the top of the bleachers was more entertaining then Colin. It seemed like everything he had to say came RIGHT out of his book. I read the book, I want to hear something different. To tell you the truth, I think I watched the police officer patroling the stands more then I did Colin. He didnt seem to be very engaging and as I looked around I noticed that he was haing a had time keeping the listeners attention. And the one thing that I thought was extremely disrespectful was that in the last ten minutes of he speech, people started moving down the rows to get a better seat near the exit. Then when he was in the middle of saying " Thank you" everyone jumped out of their seats and ran towards the exit. That was extremely rude! There is no reason to disrespect a speaker who took time out of their life to talk to us.
OHH and another thing, they were NOT prepared for the whole scanning the card thing. Remember during PAWS preview when there were two tables with three scanners at each? I do, and this whole one scanner at each exit was not working for me. I wish they had been more prepared, but I guess they will learn for next time. All in all, it was not all I hoped it would be.
