Colin Beaven's presentation would have been better if there were less people, that way we could actually pay attention and listen to what he has to say. All he pretty much did was repeat stories and examples from his book. It seems like no one was really paying attention. I looked around and all I saw was people texting. It took away from the "common" experience (no pun intended) :)
Colin Beaven tells us that we need to focus on what we're doing now to make a difference in the future by conserving all of our goods and resources. If we take a step further, our children's children will have a better place to live than we have right now.
