I'm really glad we got the opportunity to go to career services earlier than we were supposed to. It got me thinking about whether or not I want to minor in what I had previously thought. Of course, my major is set in stone, it's Creative Writing and that's what I want to do. But I'll also need at least one minor so that, when I graduate from college, I'm qualified for some sort of job that will actually allow me to earn a salary.
I haven't yet, but hopefully if things slow down a bit as far as tests go I will make an appointment with career services. There just never seems to be much of a break anymore.
Speaking of breaks, does anyone know why Texas State doesn't have a fall break, as so many other colleges do? I thought that was kind of a jip.
